Breaking News
These are the first fifteen paintings to be what I call Breaking News, my Dallas Morning News Series.
My goal in this series of paintings is to build upon the concepts of my previous work in a way that also
addresses time; particularly as it relates to my current life in Dallas.
Typically, my work explores my own perplexity within a contemporary society. These new paintings
address the human response to perpetual media and the rapid evolution of technology.
On a more personal level, these paintings offer serendipitous discoveries of one's more personal and
sometimes poignant life experiences juxtaposed with and within a contemporary vision of our
post-modern environment.
